The plain-English summary
- Use the audit tool fairly — don't spam our endpoint or abuse rate limits
- Audit results are advisory, not legal/financial/medical advice
- Pro tier is monthly; cancel anytime, no refunds for partial months
- We don't guarantee AdSense approval or AI-citation outcomes (we audit; Google + AI engines decide)
- Standard limitations apply (no warranty, no consequential damages)
Who we are
PublisherAudit is operated by Paulo de Vries, sole proprietor, registered in the Netherlands. These terms apply to all use of publisheraudit.com.
Audit tool — what you get + what you don't
The audit produces a score + recommendations based on our published methodology (see how it works). The audit is:
- Advisory only. It identifies potential issues against our methodology. It is NOT a guarantee that Google will approve your AdSense, that LLMs will cite you, or that your site is bug-free.
- Best-effort. Methodology is based on public Google policies, observed LLM-citation patterns, and Schema.org standards as of audit date. Standards change; we update methodology but cannot guarantee real-time alignment.
- Your responsibility to act on. We surface findings; you decide what to fix and when.
Free tier
One free audit per site, no signup required. Free-tier audits are stored for 90 days then auto-deleted. We reserve the right to rate-limit free-tier requests (typically ≥10/min from one IP triggers throttling).
Pro tier
- €19/mo for unlimited audits on 1 tracked site
- Billed monthly via Stripe
- Cancel anytime — no refunds for partial months
- Price changes notified 30 days in advance to active subscribers
Fleet tier
- €49/mo for unlimited audits on up to 10 tracked sites
- Same billing + cancellation terms as Pro
- Includes API access (rate-limited per fair use)
Acceptable use
You agree NOT to:
- Audit sites you do not own or have permission to audit
- Scrape or reverse-engineer the audit methodology to build a competing tool
- Spam the endpoint or attempt to bypass rate limits
- Use the service for illegal activity
- Resell or sublicense audit results without explicit permission
Violations may result in account termination without refund. Per-site usage that suggests bot-driven abuse will be IP-rate-limited automatically.
No warranty
The service is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Audit findings are based on best-effort methodology and may contain errors or omissions. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PublisherAudit's total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including lost revenue, lost AdSense approval, or lost AI-citation outcomes.
Intellectual property
The PublisherAudit name, audit methodology, scoring algorithm, and site content are owned by Paulo de Vries. You retain ownership of all sites and content you audit; we don't claim any rights to your content.
Governing law + jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Amsterdam, Netherlands.
